Reflection
For a good part of the exhibition time I felt like my partner ship wasn't going to get our piece done. However, during the last two weeks before the exhibition my partner and I got our entire piece done plus the exhibition prep we had to do. I'm really proud of how good the piece turned out despite how rushed it was. Like many I wished the room was a bit larger than what we had. I felt like because of how many people were in the room a lot of the art pieces were blocked out. Example below of how crowded the room was.
While that image doesn't show that many people, many of the pieces were still blocked out. If we had more time we could have made better use of the room that could have allowed for more room such as pushing the curtains on the left back a foot or two.
In Art it was easy to contribute to the group because my partner and I would just trade on and off painting it. However in Humanities because it was a group of five people it was harder to have outstanding contributions. For that group, despite the obvious acting contribution. I wrote a lot of the base script and really tried to keep everyone together and on task, as impossible as that is, which I think helped the group finish the project. Next exhibition I hope to keep in mind that if you work a medium amount throughout the allotted time, rather than a lot in the end and little in the begaining. It feels like less work and results in a better project, something I forgot in the exhibition. I think for a habit of Heart that I displayed the most or at least tried to was self advocacy. Throughout both of my groups I didn't have the most cheerful partners. So I tried especially in my play group to keep morale high and not try to say that our project sucked even if at times I felt like it. But in total I enjoyed exhibition even if I didn't really enjoy the project.
