Video 1: Goal - To set a baseline for the how much we currently know about Spanish
Reflection
Through preparing for this video I learned a few qualities about my current Spanish. Even though I am fairly unaccustomed to the language, I have an easy time pronouncing the words, and phrases. However my problem is finding meaning the the sentences I say. I know what the sentence means, and how to say it. But I don’t know what each individual word in the phrase means, so ultimately I can create actual responses, but pre-scripted phrases. I hope to fix this however by trying to learn the base words first, such as “the” “or” “and”. This would allow me to go word by word and construct phrases. Hopefully using note cards to work on each. I will also try to find pre-written phrases, and try to deconstruct them to learn about the words and how to use them. I would like to thank my partner Andrew B. who is at the same level as me, and put up with my consent nagging to practice even when he had his part down.
