The ProjectThe project Idea as simple as it was, in reality was much more complex than I originally gave it credit for. My primary goal was building the marble track. Two of the other group members worked on the poster, the script (which I did my section for), and most of the painting. I worked with my group member Andrew to not only assemble the 3 parts to make the track. We also glued the wood track together, cut it, and did the none detailing painting. That means most of the background and the purple track.
ExhibitionAt exhibition, I think despite the track not having everything, we wanted went over well. We had a good amount of information. Our piece was visually appealing but not to complex. It sounded nice when marbles went down it. Finally I think the audience enjoyed it especially in groups as they could compete in a way with their peers.
Final ThoughtsI honestly didn’t think we would get it assembled in time. But on the last day when it all came together and went from, ok to a complete project really lifted also off my shoulders. But like any good project It has it’s flaws. The end bin could use an acrylic cover, the tracks pieces should have been laser cut, and the nails could have been cut. But as for the structure and design itself, I believe is sound.
